New York, July 9 – Naya Rivera, one of the most popular actresses in the Glee series cast, for her role as Santana, has mysteriously disappeared into Lake Piru, in the Los Padres National Forest of Los Angeles.
Naya Rivera did not return to the boat after a while swimming around the boat, while her four-year-old son found alone in the rented boat. This was confirmed by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office after the star’s son was found alone on the boat.
Three hours after leaving with the boat, the owner of another boat found the boy alone in Rivera’s boat. Josey, who is the name of the actress’s son from her marriage to fellow actor Ryan Dorsey, confirmed to the authorities that her mother got into the water to swim, but never returned to the boat.
Apparently, and as reported exclusively by the TMZ portal, Naya’s son was wearing a life jacket while his mother was not.
As published in the same media, the security forces have immediately started searching for the actress using helicopters, divers, and drones, although without obtaining any results. According to the information collected so far by the local media, the police believe that Rivera had died. The search work was interrupted late Wednesday night and resumed this morning with the first light of the day.
Her car has indeed been located in the parking lot near the boat rental stand and her bag was inside the cabin.
Reactions to this disturbing event were swift. Harry Shum, fellow Glee, and a former partner wrote in his Twitter account one word that says it all; “Praying.”
However, for the moment, there is also no news of Josey’s father and Naya’s ex-husband, with whom the actress had a troubled five-year relationship that ended in divorce in 2018 after several disputes between the couple.
